LYRICS
"Peace Of Mind"
Words & Music By John Nicole

I’ve got a lot to be thankful for
I’ve had a good life all around
I really don’t know what’s in store
But I know it’s not on solid ground

I always know where to go

Where I can find peace of mind with you – with you

I’m never ever disappointed

Oh, maybe once, maybe twice
I’ve been a little disjointed
‘Cause all I do is roll the dice

I always know where to go

Where I can find peace of mind with you – with you

There is nothing in this whole wide world - That I wouldn’t want to do

I’m so happy that I had the chance

To spend some time with you

I always know where to go

Where I can find peace of mind with you – with you

I wanna spend a little more time with you

I wanna spend a little more time with you

I wanna spend a little more time wit
h you

During the Sixties, I enjoyed listening to a musical group called The Association.  Their vocal harmonies on Cherish and Never My Love were excellent.  Peace of Mind was my attempt to create a song which sounded a bit like them.  Check out the music video (right).

REVIEWS

A soothing and captivating song that draws you in and washes all your stress away.

“Peace of Mind” doesn’t exactly return to the album’s initial DJ-driven styles, but Nicole finally allows for a glimpse of hope.  Singing alongside a set of Spanish-inspired guitar shapes, he builds toward a sun-drenched Beach Boys-esque chorus.

Nick DeRiso

Nice and soothing lyrics...mood music. The guitar is great! I liked...it really did give me "peace of mind"...
