I may be old, but I’m not so old
that I don’t have feelings inside me

I have a soul I want to share

with some one beside me

someone to guide me

As I go down life’s winding road

You may not see what’s behind these eyes is me

I can still feel some love inside me

But honey, I know that it’s hard for you to go

When you know damn well you love me

I may be old, but I’m not too old to hold your hand

Or stay with you when you need a friend

It may be hard to walk with me or drive car

But I’ll do everything in my power to help you along

I’m not so old that I don’t feel anything

I feel like I want to sing…

inside track
Originally, I recorded this song with the voice of an “old man” but my manager, Gary Deverman, said it was too creepy and I changed it.  While I’m now “up there” in years, I still feel young.  However, so many of the folks in my age group have not aged well, mentally or physically.  This song is dedicated to everyone who believes in Peter Pan.  Listen to the original version:
